About Us

The Postnatal Depression Family/Whanau NZ Trust was established in 2007 by a group of medical professionals and consumers who were passionate about postnatal depression and perinatal distress.

We operate under the name of PND Canterbury (Postnatal Depression Canterbury) and are currently based in Spreydon, Christchurch.

We are a registered not-for-profit charity and are governed by a Board of Trustees who volunteer their time.

We offer support for parents who suffer from postnatal depression, anxiety and other related illnesses in the form of a support group, playgroup and online groups.

Medication and diagnosis information is not part of this position.

  • Personal experience with postnatal depression / perinatal mental health is desirable.

This role is part-time (20hrs/week) and is currently funded for $26,000pa ($25/hr).
